Build Up: UFC 88 Kampmann vs. Marquardt

4 Martin Kampmann is currently riding a (4) fight win streak in the UFC. At 13-1 he’s proved to be a tough opponent for anybody, and in his last bout at UFC 85 he needed only 2:44 to submit Jorge Rivera.

4 Nate Marquardt, currently 26-8-2, had a (4) fight win streak in the UFC. Then he met up with Anderson Silva at UFC 73 and was TKO’d. Since, he’s beaten Jeremy Horn and lost a controversial decision to Thales Leites at UFC 85.

67 Date (6/7) of UFC 85 when both men fought on the card. Kampmann’s victory was the sixth fight. The seventh saw Fabricio Werdum stop Brandon Vera, and the eighth was Marquardt’s loss to Leites.
