7 XMMA (7) will be held in Montreal this Friday and its most high profile participant is War Machine (formerly known as John Koppenhaver). This is the first MMA event since the “Quebec Athletic Commission” threatened to force the UFC to change rules. The parties met behind closed doors and an agreement was made that allowed 97 to go on as scheduled. According to Lotfi Sariahmed at Sherdog.com it appears XMMA will go on without any Régie des Alcools, des Courses et des Jeux (RAJC) interference as well. Also, the Commission is not commenting on any of the current rules.
