1 Only (1) of the two Brits could claim the title and after the bout it was Ross Pearson climbing the Octagon. The celebration was warranted as he claimed the decision.

123 With (1:23) left in round one Chris Lytle was kicked in the tenders by Kevin Burns. Then he was rocked by an uppercut and held on to finish the round.

16 Seconds (16) into round two when Lytle returned the favor and rocked Burns.

138 With (1:38) remaining in round two Burns got Lytle in the tenders again, prompting Joe Rogan to say, “Another ball shot.”

19 And with (19) seconds left in the round, Burns caught Lytle in the balls once again.

3 After (3) rounds, the (3rd) decision in a row on the main card went to Chris Lytle and Mike Goldberg said, “The firefighter defeats the fire.” Both Goldberg and Rogan felt it was the fight of the night.

236 At (2:36) of round one a USA chant rang through the Palms. It didn’t help Johnson as Wilks thoroughly dominated in route to a rear naked choke victory with only six seconds left in the round.

7 Number of “yeses” yelled by Diego Sanchez on his way to the Octagon. Unless I missed some, the total was well off his pace before his fight against Joe Stevenson.

964 Estimated number of punches (964) thrown by Sanchez and Clay Guida in the first 30 seconds of their fight.

301 At (3:01) of round one Sanchez blasted Guida with a high kick and Guida bounced right back up.

60 With (60) seconds left in the third round, Rogan expressed my thoughts when he mentioned that the fight could be on its way to a draw with Sanchez scoring a 10-8 round one and Guida winning rounds two and three. It ended up being a split decision for Sanchez and Rogan went back on his earlier statement about the Lytle/Burns fight being fight of the night.
