I stumbled upon this novel, The Longshot by Katie Kitamura, about a fighter before a big comeback bout. I have yet to read it, but it is getting solid reviews and based on the interview it seems Katie is truly a fan of MMA.
As someone who has written non-fiction MMA books and just finished editing my own action/adventure novel set in MMA, it is great to see The Longshot. It shows that some agents/publishers are willing to take a shot at something not so status quo.
