Fox News is reporting that the superfight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather scheduled for March 13th is currently off due to the whole drug testing issue.
Boxing really does not need this fight to fall apart and if it does it is really good for MMA. Still though, as a combat sports fan I want to see it!
Does it seem to anybody else like Floyd is looking for a way out?

You could say that but he is not asking for anything illegal. He is asking for the fight to be made more authentic. It will install a lot more confidence in the fight if both fighters are shown to be clean. Why is pacquiao refusing? He says that drawing blood so close to fights makes him weak. Mayweather will suffer the same weakness so on that note both fighters will be on equal footing.
It looks like Pac-man is looking for a way out of testing.
Pacman's camp is amenable to any test 24 days before the fight and immediately after the fight. What's wrong with that. Mayweather knows that Pacman's lost to Morales is due to blood taken from Pacman 2 days before the fight and he wants to do the same strategy.
